Details: A Restaurant Finance Director is responsible for overseeing the financial operations and financial planning of a company. These highly-analytical professionals ensure the smooth running of a company’s finances by assessing financial markets, identifying solutions to financial issues, and preparing reports.
Job Descriptions:
- Oversee the financial strategic planning of the company by evaluating its performance and potential risks.
- Perform regular financial analysis.
- Develop budgets that meet the requirements of company departments.
- Supervise all audit and internal control processes.
- Create and manage financial modeling and reporting tools for various functional areas.
- Compare and analyze financial and other operating results against established plans and targets.
- Analyze financial impact of marketing and operations initiatives.
- Create and distribute routine as well as ad hoc reports and analyses.
- Communicate results via presentations to the executive team.
- Supports the company annual operating.
- Partners with Operations and other functional departments to create financial forecasts, evaluates and reports.
- Build, maintain and distribute dashboards to assist with tracking and reporting of key performance indicators.
- Review trends and exception reports to identify and communicate opportunities to various functional areas.
- Sales, Gross Profit, Labor, and Store Operating Expense modeling and reporting.
- Prepare detailed reports on the company’s financial performance.
- Sales and expense planning during the annual budget process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 10 years’ relevant s experience.
- Good command in English both of speak and writing.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
- Must have experience with accounting/financial software and databases.
- Prior Operations Finance experience in a restaurant or hospitality is highly preferred.
- Professional certification a plus.
