Details: A Restaurant Finance Director is responsible for overseeing the financial operations and financial planning of a company. These highly-analytical professionals ensure the smooth running of a company’s finances by assessing financial markets, identifying solutions to financial issues, and preparing reports.

Job Descriptions:

  • Oversee the financial strategic planning of the company by evaluating its performance and potential risks.
  • Perform regular financial analysis.
  • Develop budgets that meet the requirements of company departments.
  • Supervise all audit and internal control processes.
  • Create and manage financial modeling and reporting tools for various functional areas.
  • Compare and analyze financial and other operating results against established plans and targets.
  • Analyze financial impact of marketing and operations initiatives.
  • Create and distribute routine as well as ad hoc reports and analyses.
  • Communicate results via presentations to the executive team.
  • Supports the company annual operating.
  • Partners with Operations and other functional departments to create financial forecasts, evaluates and reports.
  • Build, maintain and distribute dashboards to assist with tracking and reporting of key performance indicators.
  • Review trends and exception reports to identify and communicate opportunities to various functional areas.
  • Sales, Gross Profit, Labor, and Store Operating Expense modeling and reporting.
  • Prepare detailed reports on the company’s financial performance.
  • Sales and expense planning during the annual budget process.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 10 years’ relevant s experience.
  • Good command in English both of speak and writing.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
  • Must have experience with accounting/financial software and databases.
  • Prior Operations Finance experience in a restaurant or hospitality is highly preferred.
  • Professional certification a plus.
